Till, kitchen and inventory — in one system
Strong POS takes an order from the till to the kitchen and deducts ingredients by recipe. You see the cost of every dish right away, and AI reads supplier invoices. If the internet goes down, the till and kitchen keep working.
Beta: preparing for a pilot in the first restaurant. Integrated payment terminals and a fiscal module are planned.
- < 1.5 s
- from till to kitchen display (P95 under load)
- Offline
- till and kitchen work without internet and sync later
- 13 of 13
- real invoices recognized by AI without errors
- 3 languages
- ET, RU and EN interface; menus in Finnish too
Everything between the order and the report
Only what already works in the product. What's not there yet is covered in the FAQ.
Tablet till
Multiple open orders, modifiers and kitchen notes, moving and merging tables. Discounts and voids require permission or a manager PIN and are logged.
Payments and shifts
Cash with change, card on an external terminal, tips, splitting the bill evenly, by shares or by item. Refunds with a reason, till shifts, X and Z reports.
Kitchen display
Stations and routing, tickets “New → Preparing → Ready → Served”, target times and a sound alert when late. The till sees the status of every order.
Menu and prices
Categories, modifiers, allergens, availability, photos. Price lists per location, VAT rates with effective dates, published versions, menu import from a file.
Inventory and purchasing
Units and pack sizes, suppliers with their item codes, storage locations, stock movements and value, stocktakes, write-offs, transfers, purchase orders.
Recipes and food cost
Recipe versions and semi-finished items, yield and waste. Ingredients are deducted when an order goes to the kitchen; average cost, food cost and margin for every dish.
Staff
Shifts and breaks, schedule, a real-time “Today” view, PIN sign-in at the till, hours export to CSV. Configurable roles and permissions.
Reports and accounting
Revenue, orders and average bill by day, category, dish and payment method. Z reports, CSV and export to SmartAccounts.
The kitchen sees the order before the waiter gets there
Tickets are routed to stations, each with a timer and a target time. Delays are visible at once, and the till shows the guest an honest status.
- “New”, “Preparing” and “Ready” columns plus a count of late orders
- “Table 12”, “Bar #4”, “Takeaway” — clear what goes where
- Target time and a sound alert when an order runs over
- Drinks and other categories can be hidden from the kitchen display
- Waiter app: floor plan, “Ready to serve” and “Serve all”
Snap the invoice — get the goods receipt
AI reads a PDF or photo, matches the lines to your inventory and prepares a draft goods receipt. A person reviews and confirms it. Stock levels and costs update automatically.
- Remembers which supplier product matches which inventory item
- Estonian e-arve (XML, UBL) is read directly, without AI
- Invoices can be sent by email; messages from unknown senders go to quarantine
- AI limits per account keep costs predictable
- Alerts when an ingredient gets more expensive and a dish's margin drops
The till shouldn't depend on the internet
Each venue runs a small agent. It connects tills, kitchen and printers over the local network, so a shift never stops because of the internet provider.
- The till works offline: orders queue up and reach the server when the network returns; a manager resolves conflicting changes
- The venue agent (Linux, Windows, macOS) keeps the kitchen and printing running without internet; updates are signed
- ESC/POS network thermal printers, 58 and 80 mm, cutter, cash drawer, Cyrillic
- One account — several companies and locations; account data is fully isolated
- Two-factor sign-in (TOTP), device registration by code, staff PIN at the till
- Role editor and manager approval for discounts, voids and refunds
- An activity log that can't be altered after the fact
- Support gets read-only access to your account, only with your permission
Frequently asked questions
What happens if the internet goes down?
The till keeps taking orders and cash payments, and the kitchen receives tickets through the venue agent over the local network. Once the connection is back, everything is sent to the server. We tested 30 minutes offline, a reboot and two open tabs.
Can payment terminals and a fiscal module be connected?
Not yet. Card payments are taken on a separate terminal, and the payment method is recorded at the till. An integrated terminal and fiscal module are planned.
What hardware do I need?
A tablet or computer with a browser for the till, a screen for the kitchen, a phone for the waiter. For printing — an ESC/POS network thermal printer and a small computer for the venue agent.
Can I bring my own menu?
Yes, the menu is imported from a file. We tested the import on real menus from the M. Chagall and Pärl restaurants. Menu texts can be kept in Estonian, Russian, English and Finnish.
Which accounting systems are integrated?
SmartAccounts today. Merit Aktiva and SimplBooks are in progress. Reports can also be exported to CSV.
We'll show it on your menu
Send us your menu and a couple of invoices — we'll set up a demo venue and walk you through a shift from opening to the Z report.
